Snow chains
I have just been given a pair of Mercedes-Benz brand snow chains by a colleague who has traded his E320 Coupe for a Lexus 4x4 (don't ask). They are described on the packaging as being suitable for the following tyres:
185-14 195/70-14 195/65-15 205/60-15 I know that his E320 had 16" wheels from new, fitted, I think, with 205/55 R16 or 225/50 R16 tyres. So, question is, will these chains fit the 17" AMG alloys on my W202? Rear tyre size is 245/40ZR17. I expect they will not. Thanks for your help.
