Steve that SL is very very nice!! Highly desirable! I really like it. What a beauty... was it a real AMG conversion? Did anything to the engine? Wow I must say... definitely a keeper.

Sorry for the delayed response
Holson: The car went straight from MB to AMG. They added the wheels, shocks, springs, spoilers and skirts and an AMG steering wheel. I don’t know about the rear end ratio but I think the whole drive train is stock. I fell in love with it and could hardly imagine selling it.
Ebennz – US lights were installed before it was imported. The US laws required sealed beams. (DOT wisdom.) The air lines for height adjustment are still there. I would like the Euro units but don’t want to spend the cash. I have other requirements first.

Steve,
While I do think that the R107 would look better with the H4 Euro's. The 4 headlamp system could be upgraded with some pretty new reflector (better internal-design I'd imagine) such as these Complex Reflector lamps.. http://lighting.mbz.org/products/products.html The H1 bulbs are also newer than the H4's and *I have read...* are supposed to be better...
