Here's my baby, I'm new here so hope you like it ;-)

Oh yes my name at weekends is Klaus Ludwig.

This is, of course, the actual highly succesful 190E DTM - this the EVO 2 version, which I snapped at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2001. It was a Mercedes centenary type thing, so I got a lot of pics of MBs, including a rallying SL (!), CLK-GTRs etc

Take a look at http://www.maylane.demon.co.uk/goodwood/ for all my pics!

My car really looks like:

later!

Don't have any pics of the wifes ML so I guess I'll just have to settle for my Bimmer pic.

stevbfl.. You're a master tech on MBs and you drive a bimmer. We shouldn't read anything into that should we?

Naw... its the first BMW I have ever owned if you don't count the 2002 I bought for our youngest daughter when she turned 16 twelve years ago.

I actually have owned (and still do) a 1984 928 which I bought in 1987. My wife has always driven the MB, I had an 84 Carrera before the 928.

I bought the BMW to get to know it and to talk to it. Talking to a BMW is much more complicated than an MB. Programming and variant coding has gone on for over 10 years with their cars. I intended to sell it after a few months (have had it 15 months now) and get another late model but I have liked the car so much and it is a very nice specimen which I have been worried about for the next one.

It is rather special to have a house on a hill (the back yard buts up to an Audubon bird sanctuary) in Florida. Its even more special when its only a mile from your business, downtown. I can be home or the shop within 5 minutes or less.

Here are my two. The 4.5 on the left and the 560 project on the right (not the best of shots, but will suffice for now).

I just got the 560 mobile this past Sunday, still have plenty of work to do on it though. Car hasn't been washed since sometime in August at the earliest, but still looks fairly decent. Up close you can see the shine through the grime.

Steve, I too love the sight of those pines (you can keep the Spanish Dagger though - ouch), reminds me of my East Texas piney woods. Really wish I'd have been selected for that JAX job last year, then I could come bother you and borrow your tools .

I got this one 3 weeks ago for $800. It seems to run good but needs all the vacuum leaks fixed.

Hey stevebfl!! I was glad to hear that your house was intentionally below ground level!! I thought it might have gotten swallowed by one of your famous sinkholes. A friend of mine has a horse ranch close to Newberry. He almost lost his tractor one day, the ground just fell out from under him. It was expensive ground at that

Here is my new E420

I just bought this E420. I am planning to do some upgrades to it soon. Modifications will include: Monotone look, 16" X 7.5 wheels with 205/55/16 tires, avantgarde S600 grill, Eibach sport shocks and H&R springs and premium sound equipment.

Any suggestions or advise ? Hope you like it !

Great choice Cris! They are a lot of fun. I want to do the suspension upgrade also, but I think I'm going to go with SportLine. Also want to do the AMG front spoiler.

Finally got the car washed so that I can get a decent picture of it... I try to wash it at least once a year.

Smile This is mine

It's got 190' km on it and runs the 0-60 on 8.5 s

Going to do some tweaking on the transmission because it has the famous hard 1-2 shift and it annoys me alot.
Other than that it's in great shape.

Talking E420 PICTURE

I just bought this 97 model E420. I am planning to do some upgrades to it also. The Modifications will be: 17 " or 18 " wheels, sport shocks and springs and maybe a deep sounding exhaust system.
