I thought they put up with Mercedes in the name until "All Parts Express" or whatever it's called started selling parts for other manufacturers besides Mercedes. Doesn't really matter, just was a vague memory.....

So, Wayne, how do yall feel about Honda/Acura???

I don't currently drive anything German, but still love this site. My bet is this can only help it. I hope folks (meaning the complainers) experience the new properties of the site before they report on whether the sky is really falling! Ha.

One very important point to note Wayne: The new parts section should NEVER embrace the Rogue T..........

So can we have a Pelican Parts sponsored SoCal Mercedes GTG in El Segundo with "best of" prizes (aka free car parts )?

Wayne, you're in El Segundo?

My dad worked for Unocal (Union 76) his whole career, and used to let my brother and I ride our go-kart back in the oil fields in El Segundo when we were kids.

This will be excellent for both parties - I don't know about everyone else but I am extremely loyal to PP, even if other (questionable) vendors have slightly better prices. I've probably spent a few thousand on here the last few years. All the best!

Maybe eventually we'll get into that field. All of our suppliers are mostly German / Euro focused, so that would be a big undertaking...

We were in El Segundo for the past 13 years. We just moved to our new location in Harbor City about two months ago.

Welcome to the forum, Wayne. This is a nice surprise. I ordered something from Pelican a few years ago and I was so impressed with your customer service. I remember wishing that you carried more of the MB parts that I order. I'm glad to hear that you have maintained the vision of excellent customer service and am looking forward to doing business with you.

Our current Mercedes catalog is very lacking. Almost embarrassingly so. I do not wish to put a link to it at this moment because the new one will be so significantly better when it comes out (in a few months).

Thanks for all the kind words everyone - we hope to inject some new life and energy!

I was poking around pelican parts and I like the stuff over there. There is a lot of good tech articles and supplemental information. I can see PP gaining more and seeing more great DIY's with excellent photos happening in the near future. I hope we get some of those cool books for the w123/w124/w126 cars. I'd love to help out where I can!

now this is awesome
