how to access a/c diagnostic codes from the pushbutton display console

I have a 92 300se that all of a sudden, the a/c clutch cycles after a cold startup after about 5 minutes, then it will cycle every 10-15 seconds. Then freon is full, this started right after a wire broke off the terminal at the compressor but was fixed ( resoldered the wire back on to the connector). What may be the cause of this and what buttons on the consloe do i need to push to go into diagnostic mode? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
