replacing bumper molding

I will be replacing the damaged front bumper molding from my 1990 300e with one from a 1993 300e. I have read all instructions from the FSM, and visually scouted out the job. I am wondering how to remove the 14 "clips". The FSM lists a special tool, but certainly there is another way, right? Any tips or advice you have on doing this job will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
donno

No special tool needed. Just have to be careful with a screwdriver to pop the clips loose.
