I think they sound good enough for me. Be sure to take HitmanX's advice on running larger power wires to the head unit. I use a relay for the switched power. i use the small gauge factory wire to activate the relay. I did not remove the amps in the back. I just tapped into the fader wires. See my post in the audio section. I suppose the signal just passes though them as they are not powered anymore.
