190E 1.8 owners

Are there any other 190E 1.8 owners around here?

I ask this because I don't see a lot of 190E 1.8's around (Holland).

We got this car recently from my grandmother. It's build in 1991.
I was a bit surprised when we got it, because it only had a 4-speed manual transmission (and no abs).
But it had central locking.
Is this a too early 190E 1.8 to get a 5-speed gearbox or something? I know other 1.8's have a 5-speed.

Besides, what would it cost to replace the 4-speed with a 5-speed (it's making a lot of noise, you know).
