The guy at my shop(so far a great shop) took the panel off today. He says that you have to take off the sill plate and the kickpanel before you take down the lower dash cover. The heater system apparently uses this area as a plenum, and it's under negative pressure when the fan is running. I say this because a large number of business cards and part of a cassete tape were what was in the fan. My guy says that the back of the glove box has a hole missing a plastic cover. The negative pressure sucked the stuff out of the govebox.
The AC compressor won't kick on becasue the system is low on refreigerant. He's filling it and checking for leaks tommorrow. |
