Does anyone have a listing of the Wheel Alignment Specifications for a 1978 280 SLC ?
The car has the factory 6 1/2 x 14 alloy wheels and 205 70 14 tires. I have recently replaced all of the tie rod ball joints and steering shock(easy job) and the car now drives like new;curiously, all of the W107's I inspected for sale at MB dealers had new suspension parts installed. Is the W107 susceptible to suspension wearout? |

Factory specs are somewhat on the conservative, at least where handling is concerned. Camber 0 deg
Caster 3.2 deg Toe-in 2MM Any good alignment shop should be able to handle it, be sure to have a 4-Wheel alignment performed! ------------------ MERCEDES BENZ MASTER GUILD TECHNICIAN ASE MASTER TECHNICIAN 27 YEARS M.B. TECH |
