Just noticed that there is a rectangular plastic "hole plug" in the heel area of the right rear passenger seat (in the carpeted area). Before my curiosity gets the best of me and I mess with something I shouldn't, what is this for?

Now you've got me wondering, too!
It may be used to access the battery. My '98 E430 has the same plug. Maybe Benzmac will enlighten us. ------------------ '98 E430 MBCA-Peachtree |

The plug covers the attachment point for the battery Ground cable!! Have found several loose & causing strange problems, somewhat a small bolt so don't over tighten!
