Transmission problem 722.409 190e 2.6
Hi, I'm new around here.
Sorry for my English if I say something wrong, my language is Spanish. I have a problem in my Mercedes 190e 2.6 to which I cannot find a solution. And before having to change the gearbox I would like to receive your help. I have seen many forum posts and I think you have more knowledge than in my country. The problem that I drag is that when the car heats up or the gearbox heats up, when stopping at a traffic light or stop the car stops. As if it were manual and you will brake without stepping on the clutch. Injection the car is fine. The revised vacuum intakes and the red modulator changed for a new one, with oil change and filters. In cold the car behaves well. Also when it is heated, sometimes when it goes to "D" or "R", blows are produced that do not occur when cold. I hope you can help me or give me light from someone who has had something similar. Thank you very much and I hope I have explained myself. |

That sounds like an engine problem not a transmission problem |

All the engine part is supposedly revised.
The car is in the correct parameters, it only has the high HC and it has almost everything new. An interesting fact is that the economy when putting "D" in idle is set to 1/4 of the maximum. In acceleration or in P or N it reaches the minimum without any problem. I guess when you put D and the car is idling it should also be set to minimum. |

The "ECONOMY" gauge is just a simple vacuum gauge. Just because your engine had a lot of work done to it it doesnt mean that it is running right. A 722.4 can't cause a stall, it doesn't have a lock up torque converter |

I understood that the economy indicator should always be at the minimum except for the times when the accelerator is used.
The problem comes from somewhere and many things have changed. I guess it will be a vacuum shot but I haven't heard anyone with my problem ever surfing the web. Thanks |
