DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD TRUSTWORTHY DEALERSHIP IN THE LONG ISLAND AREA?? SOME DEALERS ARE NOW BREAKING THINGS ON PURPOSE IN PEOPLES CARS SO THEY BRING THEM BACK AND PAY MORE AND MORE $$$
HAS ANYBODY HAD THIER CAR SERVICED AT LAKEVIEW MERCEDES ??? HOW DID THEY DO??? ARE THAY TRUSTWORTHY??? |

I hope this isn't considered bashing, but the one time I brought my vehicle to lakeview, they broke my hood release lever, told me it was broken when it came in, and wanted to charge me to fix it. It was not broken when it was brought in. This is not bashing, just a simple relating of my experience with this facility. Take it for what it is worth.

I am sorry that you feel it is necessary to question the honesty of a Mercedes Benz Dealer or repair shop. As a professional technician I belive that it is my duty to care for the vehicle that you have entrusted to me as if it were my own. I belive that most other technicians and owners feel this way also. As with any Profession there are always a few bad apples. Very few shops will allow this to happen. As a Foreman I had the a technicain try to do this to a Customer. He was fired on the spot. Good Luck |

I hope my relating of this experience is not interpreted as a universal knock on MB technicians. This is truely my only bad experience. Unfortunately, as in most businesses, the happy customers rarely write to thnak or compliment, but the unhappy customers are very noisy. To all you honest techs, thank you, and please keep it up!
