Climate control lights come on after turning off the car for the night, battery dies

2001 C320- The climate control lights and a red light come on when the engine is off and doors locked (please view photo). The battery goes dead overnight. Can I assume it has something to do with the alarm? Is there a way to remove the alarm ? (pull a fuse?). I do have a STAR C-3, but not sure how to change something or diagnose this problem.
