Hi, I am confused as to how to actually separate the metal housing from the roof. Mine wiggles slightly from side to side but "prying" it makes me think this will permanently break some flange. There was a wire tab that I pulled on and pryed out. it looks like a 1 inch bent paper clip. Is there another possibly broken off inside that is holding the mirror base to the socket? Help! What is actually holding the whole metal housing to the roof? And does it slide forward or simply "pop" downward? Is there some sort of tab or tool like a door handle removal tool I am supposed to use? Thanks
