Where exactly is the cruise control unit located on a 87 420 SEL.
There is a wire hanging loose with a plug on the end of it on the left side of the driver's leg under the dash. Is this normal?
Thanks again in advance.

Dosent sound normal. Cruise amp is located up by the brake pedal. Has a 14 pin connector on the bottom.
