Greetings & Happy New Year Fellow MB'ers.....

I'm looking to replace the front brake rotors & pads. Can any one suggest a particular brand to use or stay away from??

Does rotor manufacture also make the pads or should I be aware of mismatching brand names?

Is this a project that can be done in my garage with standard tools or is it better left to a shop??

My preference is low brake dust because of the wheels I have. This car sees less than 5K miles per year at most.
