W124 - Proper Way To Lube Side Mirrors?

Howdy Gang,

Spring cleaning is in the works. When I adjust my side mirrors they're little stiff and jumpy.

Considering they're almost ten years old and have probably never been lubed, I'm assuming that's what I need to do.

Can anyone let me know the best way to go about it?
