On a 1988 300SEL, the master cylinder has been replaced and all 4 blead, but in 2 to 3 days, the pedal is near the floor again. Do I need to look at the ABS pump next? Breaker/fuse/wiring failure perhaps? Only have 110,000 miles on it. Thanks

I would rebleed the brakes, make sure that all of the bleeders screws were tightened...always check the basics first. I assume that none of the pads and discs are worn out.
It is always possible that the new master cylinder is bad, but I do not see the ABS hydraulic unit causing this problem, they have been real reliable other than an occaisional relay or something. ------------------ |

We use a pressure bleeder that screws in place of the cap. Then if all of the air isn't out, you leave it on and bleed with someone pump and hold method. You either have a bad new master or you have air.
