My 190e has been doing some strange electrical problems as of late. My car is out in the parking lot with the front headlamps only burning and running down my battery. I have played with fuses and can't get them to turn off. Help! Whats wrong! Thanks!

Don't know for sure, but I think there is a headlight control relay in your car (probably behind the fuse nest in the relay section of the fuse box). If you pull the fuses, do the lights still stay on? If they do, then there is a weird short someplace.

There is no headlight control relay, the power goes through the headlight switch and the combination switch (for high beams).

There you go. Donnie, I read all of your posts and I learn at least 10 new things every day.. If he pulls the headlight fuses shouldn't the lights go out?? If not what could be powering them??
