123 TurboDiesel Sitting Idle for a year

I have just purchased an 85 300 CD-T (71K miles)from relatives. While I had the vehicle checked-out by their MB dealer (hot compression, leak-down test on the engine), I'm wondering what recommendations you all would have, given this fact - prior to driving it over to be checked-out, it had sat idle in their garage for over a year. What else would you recommend I get checked-out?
