My 88' 300e has 113,500 miles. It has the original struts & shocks on it, as well as all the bushings, etc. Its starting to have "creaking" sounds and the ride feels "mushy" and soft. Can someone give me
some info on how much shop time is required to do the replacements or a ballpark number($$$) on the cost I will be looking at? Thanks....... |

I'm afraid you'll have to find out exactly what's wrong first. Unless you drive alot on very rough roads, I'll be surprised if there is any looseness in the frontend, but the only way you'll know is to raise it and check it by shaking, prying and pulling. If you're not comfortable with this, you should definitely take it to a good front end person to have it checked.
