Two weeks ago my car was in for 90K service
and I commented on the fact that it seemed to be misfiring and the mileage was off by 10% or so. The culprit seemed to be the engine wire harness. There were wires shorting. I have heard there may be a Mercedes Benz Service campaign to replace a lot of W124 wire harnesses in the engine bay. Anyone familiar with this?
