Same here, but quite often a bolt breaks and the housing needs to be removed anyway. I had a fixture made for drilling out the broken stubs. The fixture is made from an old water pump, and drill bushings welded in. The fixture is held on with 3 bolts. The washers hold the fixture above the stubs.
