W211 body parts question
I have an '07 E320 Bluetec that was involved in a front end collision. I have found several '03 E320 gassers on CL for parts. Are the sheet metal parts interchangeable on both cars? I will probably be buying the entire car and removing everything from the cooling fan forward, and the fenders and hood. If there are significant differences, I would like to know before purchasing a parts car. Although a white car would be best, I am not opposed to any other color if it is cheap enough. I am kinda bumbed that I didn't buy the '06 CDI that was on my local CL for parts a couple months ago. It was hit in the rear, and was also white like the car I am repairing now. I probably could have gotten the whole car for a couple grand. Oh well, my search continues. If anyone near So. Cal knows where I can find a white E320, please let me know! Thanks, Rich
