Injection pump compatibility
It turns out my horribly smoking wagon has a bad injection pump. It is constantly dumping full fuel load to injector #1.
My wagon is a normally aspirated 1980 model. My parts car is a normally aspirated(of course) 1977 300D. I've already pulled the IP from the parts car, and can take it to the guy who is working on my wagon to install if it is compatible. The numbers on the wagon IP, near the back on a Bosch plate read RW 375/2200 MW27.1 On the 300D IP the same plate reads: RW 350/2200 MW19 Can anyone tell me if I can swap the one for the 300D to the wagon?
