Interesting!
I have never seen rod and main bearings that are oil starved cause no damage to the crank journals... Yup put bearings in it and drive another 200k... Life is so simple!!!

I agree. The guy is dreaming if he thinks new bearing shells will fix the knocking. I think it is time for a new engine. Even so, that is still a great price.
