Has anyone on these forums used Silver Star Transmission? (http://www.silverstartransmission.com/) They quoted me $1495 for a completely rebuilt trans shipped to my door, and it's very tempting...

You'll know when you've arrived at the right shop when you see all the MBs in the parking lot. Been recommended to me a few times, although I have no firsthand experience...
