Lower Control Arm Bushing Replacement on 300CD
I did a search and read about this issue. Appears the primary concern is to compress the spring correctly using "center" compression tool. Looks like the bushing can be squeezed in by lubricating it properly and using right size "c" clamp.
Any advice about doing this myself. I'm a careful guy with basic mechanical skills. So far I've replaced shocks, removed/replaced drive shaft, replaced glow plugs, changed transmission fluid, oil, fuel filters. Thanks, Nic '85 300CD |
