When to do timing chain & my engine version?

Hi,

My car has just clicked over 150,000 kms today. The chain has never been replaced and I can't find anything in the book to suggest when I should do it.

I just went through my receipts to double ckeck but there is no mention of timing chain. Is it overdue or something that should be checked?

Also, I know I should know this but can someone please confirm my engine version as to whether I have M603 or M606? Is it on a data plate somewhere?

Incase my signature hasn't updated yet: 1994 E300 Diesel (straight six no turbo)

Thanks
