Anyone have an unused web cert for Pelican Parts?

EDIT: I was able to get a $10 off cert from a member, thanks. Parts ordered 3/22/16

I am about to order a large order from Pelican, and would like to get some kind of a discount. I have not ordered in a while, so I don't have a web cert (discount) that is current. Has anyone made a purchase lately that has gotten a web cert, and not going to use it? If you have one that is still valid, and will expire before you use it, I would be happy to use it for you! Thanks in advance, Rich

I will be spending about $300. I got one from a member (Thanks!) for $10 off. Anyone have a better one? I will be ordering on Monday, so if a better one does not come along, I will be grateful to at least get the $10 (better than nothing!).....Rich

Can this thread be used for future cert giveaways?

Moderator: Can this thread be used to offer discounts that someone gets in the future to give away? I often get these emailed to me, and they don't always get used. I would like to offer any that I get to other members if I don't plan to use them. What do you think?

I also get coupon offers. WTF?? It feels like a negative because there is a time limit and I've just ordered a bunch of stuff at $0 discount and don't need any more. How about a "loyal customer" or "prompt payment" discount to be used when needed?

I have to agree. I have ordered thousands in parts over the years, and always miss out on coupons/offers. A lot of the time it's the reason I end up getting parts elsewhere due to the different pricing. Lots of places I work with have a loyalty discount that you receive after reaching a certain level of business. The way the system is now I literally open up multiple windows side by side and fill the shopping carts of multiple vendors. I always feel bad when I order elsewhere but, I'm not a rich man and little bits add up.

Perhaps the trick would be to make a small order, receive a discount coupon, then place the big order?

I believe that the larger the order, the larger the discount (for next time). I will see what they send me, and I am sure it will be more than a $10 discount.

That may work. It will also waste time because the discount doesn't arrive until after the 1st order. I could have ordered 1 side for my suspension refurb then waited to order the other side. That seems like unnecessary hoops. I'd rather spend the time wasted on the board or playing with my wife or straightening my computer wires or checking the competition.
