Finally digging into my 722.315 transmission (broken pump driving tabs)
This was sitting for a couple of years because I kind of lost interest in the projects, but IT'S BACK ON!
Got the pump put. The tabs on the inner gear are broken off. Have a replacement coming from ebay -- not a whole brand new pump, that's super expensive; found a guy with used parts with tabs intact. I kind of want to dig in a bit deeper; I am just wondering whether I should get a gasket set only, or a set with the metal bits? The transmission was shifting fine right before the pump quit; am I likely to need to replace any of the metal parts? Should I, 'while I am in there' ?
