Finally digging into my 722.315 transmission (broken pump driving tabs)

This was sitting for a couple of years because I kind of lost interest in the projects, but IT'S BACK ON!

Got the pump put. The tabs on the inner gear are broken off. Have a replacement coming from ebay -- not a whole brand new pump, that's super expensive; found a guy with used parts with tabs intact.

I kind of want to dig in a bit deeper; I am just wondering whether I should get a gasket set only, or a set with the metal bits?

The transmission was shifting fine right before the pump quit; am I likely to need to replace any of the metal parts? Should I, 'while I am in there' ?

Or, to put the question differently - what should I definitely replace while I have it apart?

Nice to you back.

I would suggest updating the B2 piston and sleeve.

Here is a good thread for you to look through regarding going through the .315

Finally got it put back together. She runs and drives!!! I am so excited.

I need to sort out the kill switch, I know it used to work, I must have just put it together wrong.

Also the fuel gauge not working.

All small things, I am sure I will be able to sort them out.

SHE RUNS!!!!!! And drives too!!!
