I think I might have ADD.
I am having trouble with time .

A morning or a whole day will pass in a few moments it seems and sitting here at the 'puter will eat up hours of an evening.

I've been here in my shop now for 16 years.....it seems like 2.
OKC bombing was nearly 10 years ago !!!

Where the blazes is all this time disapearing too ?

Right now is 23:53. I got on line 3 hours 25 minutes ago !
I've written several emails and posted to two forums and finished off putting a timing belt on a 2000 Kia....and now it's nearly midnite ...

I think I need help.

The older we get,the the more rapidly time advances,the less hours are in a day,or so it seems............

This phenomenon is generally most noticeable when we are engaged in leisure pursuits,less so when working.

I do not know what it is called or if it has been recognized and codified but it generally hits after 40 and increases incrementally with each year.

One old sport with whom I related this called it life's cruel joke.

I'm ADD to the max, but it has proven to be a valuble asset. I flourish while multi tasking, it drives some people a little nuts but since the end result is several projects coming together at the same time they cut me some slack and give me lots of money.

Have you seen the new Lamboghini? I saw one at 7-11 where I was getting some coffee, they didn't have lids that fit the cup and I spilled coffee all over my truck. While at the detail shop I saw a suped up S600 that belonged to a detroit piston player, I think he's an ass.

If you ask anyone that has had a conversation with me they will agree that the above statement is on par for a disussion with me.

I can relate precisely from where you are coming.

Since the business has fallen off lately, I find myself doing the exact same things, and concentrating on productive exercises is much more difficult.
I have no problems when under pressure, but, when the pressure is off those clock hands really speed up!!!

I've always believed {and observed in others} that one is not "old"until regrets take precedence over dreams.

I have been diagnosed with ADD. At least I think that's what she said.

Actually it can be pretty entertaining. You can forget stuff or say off-the -wall stuff and no one thinks anything about it! Seriously, it is irritating to have a thought in mind and then suddenly lose it. I catch myself constantly forgetting why I walked to my toolbox or came into the house only to draw a blank as to what I was looking for.

But, do you take the mail out from the outbox to go to the post office with it and then set it down somewhere else in the house and not be able to remember where you set it down (5 minutes ago) and search for it for 15 minutes? Is this the definition of ADD?

How many tape measures are required to do a project when you have ADD?
Answer: A minumum of FIVE.
