wow, I put a hundred miles on my car last night... I didnt GO anywhere... I touched 100 a few times, but with no real reason. Mabey I'm going out of control? I started drinking after I got home, and there wasnt much bottle to kill anyways.

So, in the afternoon foggyness, I realize I overreacted. Why is it a lonly world out there, if there's like 3 billion women to pick from????????

Yeah... More fish in the sea, but damn, though I had a keeper. She was nice... Naughty, but nice. No, I didnt get laied by her either, she said she's saving it for marrige (I'd be one hell of a gift ). She's smart, outgoing, responsible, and pretty damn good looking too.

I wonder what she'll look like in a Navy dress uniform?

Anyways, yeah, I'm stoopid.

I realize she's gotta go her own ways, but I'm wandering why she decided to do that this week, which is the end of the first quarter of school. I think she'll be finishing school before the Navy, but I dont know the recruting process, so..?

Tks for the support
~Nate

Dude, the girl I'm dating now and I were "just friends" for almost two years. Be her "friend" and date other people. Once she sees what she lost she'll be all over you like white on rice. This fits in nicely with Hattie's thread on "bad boys"...

Exactly right -- if you date or fool around with more than one woman (the more the better), the more unavailable and less dependent you'll be. To most women, this translates into 'more attractive'.

Nate: Stay in touch with her, I put myself through school while working full time and believe me there isn't much time for breathing much less a relationship. You both have the internet and can communicate that way. Don't take it personally and just remember :"A woman is the most fiendish instrument of torture ever devised to bedevil the days of man,"

Mine was the same.

The most smart, outgoing (thats what really got me) woman I've yet to meet. I think she's as afraid of comitment as I was.

Don't waste a bottle of booze for something like that. Wait until they really tear your heart out and stomp that sucker flat - then, you might be able to lay claim to a shot of something 80 proof.

Other than that, it's a waste of booze.

Besides, booze should be for celebratory occasions not negative reasons, cuz after a while, you can find any sort of reason to drink.

PS: Dying of liver failure is ugly - you get the $hits so bad for about 2 weeks that you can't even stand on your own, much less wipe yourself, and then you die while moaning out loud. Oh, and the whole time you're yellow and bloated like you really did swallow a beach ball.

patience my friend.

if she is the one for you and you for her, it will wait. girls are a lot smarter than guys at your age. they can think with their brain. guys seldom get past their head. keep in touch, maybe it will click later. just live your life and be the best person you can be and you will find the right girl, this one or another.

best wishes

Nate

Women (not all) use that sheepish "lets just be friends" since they dont have the nerve to be truthful. For that, I would be thankful to rid myself of the potential problems a girl like that could dish out in the future.

For what its worth, most all of us have heard that one-liner at one time or another. Just be patient and wait it out. Experience has taught me that the harder I try...the more unsuccessful I become. Just chalk it up as experience and dont take it to heart.

Its like the time I felt the need to ask a girl to dance at a nightclub. She was sitting having drinks with 5 of her girlfriends. As we all know, the walk back to ones table after a rejection seems like a mile across broken glass. But she was beautiful (actually a 5) and I walked over and ask her to dance. The music was so loud she couldnt hear what I had asked. "Would you like to dance?" I asked. She nodded her head no and I acted surprised. I said "No?" She looked even more confident still nodding her head. Annoyed she looked at me and said "NO, I DO NOT WANT TO DANCE WITH YOU!" I then replied, " I didnt say I wanted to dance with you! I said you look fat in those pants" and then I walked off nodding my head all the way back to my table.

The rejection felt the same to me but I learned that the kiss of death can be getting rejected by a 5. Good Luck I hope this lightens your spirit and encourages you to keep on asking.
