Just so but life & things don't always work out that way......

I was able to get out after some years at a dead loss every year (crummy house, bad area, only a few good tenants) with sufficient $ to make the down payment on the place I'm at now .

MERRY HAPPY ETC. !! .

In perusing the net for Kellison kit cars I stumbled across a few of these:

Its a race car with a thin veneer of street legality. I'm a sucker for an aluminum frame, a winters rear end with magnesium center parts and four webers like the racing cobras back in the day.

I love these! They are dime a dozen around me, but still look great. The kits have come a very long way in the last 15 years, Factory Five has really ramped up their production and others have matched it.

Personally I'd love to have a coyote engine in one, the character seems like a perfect match.

The coyote motor is an excellent if expensive choice. This one has a chebby mouse with 427 CI. It has racing rods, high compression pistons and a hot cam. With the four Webers it should be as quick as my Lotus 7 replica at least in power to weight ratio.

Me don't need no stinking four cams and four valves. Pushrods and two valve engines if big enough will shat and get too.

It is always far more fun (and challenging) to drive slow cars fast.......

I love taking my Mercedes 300CD Diesel Sports Coupe on Road Rallies and passing Sports Cars, much to the dismay of those who cannot properly drive them .

I'd prolly wreck a fast car like this in a day or three .

I put a deposit on it tonight. I'll fly out next week and examine it, then if all is good I'll have it shipped home.

Near as I can tell it must be around 2000#. Yikes! The hp/weight is higher than the Lotus!

Today we closed on my new to me office building. One more piece in the puzzle to complete, the vacation rental home.
