Need help identifying an old Sci Fi show from the '60's
This has been bugging me for a while. I have an image in my head from a show in the '60's that I believe was sort of sci fi ish.
I believe there was a group of aliens or a secret society that flew around in tank shaped space craft with what looked like pipes sticking out of them. By tank, I mean an oil tank rather than a military tank. Another thing is that I believe it was British. That's all I have - sorry... And thanks!

UFO is a very good guess but I don't think it's it. It has the right "feel" though...
