The reality is the same forces that put Scott Brown in his seat on Tuesday led to one of the greatest political power shifts in US electoral history. The Tea Party and voters will have an opportunity to pass judgment again on Brown in 2012 I suspect that most of the people who voted for him in 2010 will vote for him again, will there be a greater number of people energized to vote for whoever his opponent is remains to be seen. Don't put too much faith in the propaganda of the left as far as what the Tea Party Movement is, does, and feels; they haven't gotten much correct about it thus far, much to their chagrin!

It's all relative, his voting record as a state rep and senator are predominately right of Massachusetts insanely left center, his record as a US Senator is clearly to the right with some votes which can be argued are left positions/issues. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have to compare Scott Brown to the alternative Martha Coakley to understand. With that perspective anybody who's not an Obamunista` can easily understand Scott's value to the Republican Party and agenda. What's? the Dear Leader say "we can't let the perfect be the enemy of good" or as attributed to Reagan "The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally — not a 20 percent traitor."

The Republicans first and foremost promise which got them elected was to stop the Obama agenda! They've already had some success on delivering on that prior to this election and with this election the Obama agenda has now been effectively ended! As Democrats and Obama fight to preserve what they have accomplished it only plays into the Republican message for 2012, Democrats won't do what it takes to free the economy and spur job growth and a return to prosperity.

More like 1/2. The Prez only has veto power. Congress is where the main power is at. Look at every bill sent to the Prez. It becomes a hostage situation. Oh, you don't like my pork? OK. FU then. Toss it all out and take the heat. When something goes wrong, who do you think people look to first? In THEORY, Congress is the equal of the Prez. In fact, I don't think so. Now, if the Prez had line item veto, you can make that case. Till then, the Prez is the equal of congress only IN THEORY.

Why would you want a compromise? All it means is you dump your pork and I'll dump mine in it. We both walk away happy. Too bad for the voter. He picks up the tab. Fact is, the less either of them accomplishes, the better off we are. If there were two guys who would rape your butt, would you rather the fight amongst themselves to see who goes first and not get to you or would you rather they compromised and found a way to decides who gets first crack at your crack?
