This response is only related to the title of the above link:

So Newt is in the same boat as the liberal hero Slick Willy?

Who said I love him? It amuses me that with you, if anyone does not totally agree with you, they automatically are completely against you. It must be difficult to see only in black and white when the world is various shades of gray.

I respect him, and believe that he actually wants to solve problems, but I do not love any politician.

Your continued problem with him as posted here and other threads is that he is not "humble" enough for you? The guy is the elected leader of one of the most powerful countries on earth, why should he be humble? I would take wisdom over humble, and understanding over confusion.

Bush for example was a seeming likable humble guy, but was blind, deaf, and dumb, and was like a bull in a china shop with international relations and economics. Why should we elect someone unqualified to pump gas to the highest office in our country because he is humble?

I voted for Kerry BECAUSE he was an intelligent jerk, and the intelligence is what I valued more.

He needs to filter those ideas instead of just popping off like that. Sometimes they are good ideas--sometimes, not. This one seems to be in the "not" category. ( Unless a President Newt can get the deficit and the debt to zero, and then has too much money just sitting in the US Treasury that he needs to use....)

I would never consider a man with the kind of temperament to be in charge of running this country, would you?

Gingrich?

You really believe that? You would prefer a totally dishonest, philandering, hypocritical, scum bag like Gingrich?

Surely there are other Republican nominees that you would find more acceptable.

Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse would beat what we're stuck with. ANYTHING to give us a chance of heading off the imminent economic collapse.

Yes.
I believe he would be better than the current President. But then, I believe even you would be better than the current President, and I disagree with you on almost everything.
