Spot on.

Go to walmart sometime and look at how the Grand Marquis' with handicap placards park in the spots, they park all over the place, over all kinds of lines. Now I didn't have to start a thread about how handicap people are parking in my general parking, parking spots.

Wal*Mart, Target, Starbucks, etc, etc. Doesn't matter. There is always some fool that cannot park in 1 spot. One guy even took up 4 spots. Why? I am not sure. He was middle aged so he wasn't young or old and didn't look handicapped and was not driving a high end car so it wouldn't get the ire it gets here.

I am not disputing this at all. At the same time, I have the right to think of him, whatever I want to think of him.

The question to the answer runs deeper.
Why would you want to fly 5 of the same flag mounted to a truck bed drive down a California Fwy?

We did that when we were kids, mounting all kinds of stuff onto our bicycles, thinking it was sooo cool.

The person who parked that car is just begging to get car key pinstriped. Judging by the other vehicles it's a nice area with the Range Rover and the GL.

It is so simple if possible to park FAR away from any other car and put at least one side close to a island or curb if the door sill is high enough.

Was that meant to be an expression of abundant intelligence?
But I agree. It's one of the really nice things about America. We have a big and loving heart for a tremendous multitude of narrow-minded morons.

I think he was trying to give us some insight into the likely mindset of a person who would adorn his pickup truck with multiple American flags.

OTOH, my vehicle adornments over the 18 years I've owned cars have been limited to 1. A Ron Paul sticker affixed to my '77 240D in 2008, and 2. A "USMC" license plate frame affixed to my '63 Dodge Dart circa 1996. It has occurred to me to purchase some econobox POS that I don't like or respect and plaster in a variety of politically incorrect bumper stickers, but I keep buying vehicles I actually like too much to do that to.

Ron Paul? You're in the wrong thread, dude! Just kiddin' ...
Mindset, yeah. You're probably right. I didn't think AraT would take sides so easily. My bad.

We also have that most precious freedom. The Constitutional right to be stupid.

Of course he meant to deride the flag-flyer.
He is entitled to his free speech, and freedom of association, too.

I have found that when I try to infer motives, I have at least a 50% chance of being wrong.

The YMCA that I go to is a collection of the worst parking I have every seen and most of it is cars that are mid-size and smaller. I have no issue putting my 8 foot bed Silverado in the center and square to the lines.

We have driver's license....maybe there should be a parking license.

The Y I work out at is pretty bad, mainly due to the huge population of elderly people, "Silver Sneakers".

I park my car in the hinterlands to avoid door dings.

Insert "should" between "they" and "go." Or maybe "used to"?
