And heliocentrism, and the spherical Earth theory. Crazy talk.

I think your religion once wanted to silence Nicolaus Copernicus and Galileo Galilei. What if they had suceeded?

That would be the Catholic Church...not my religion or faith. The Vatican doesn't speak for mt

Ah, so different churches are to be attributed different interpretations of the same basic texts. I guess it's just a matter of shopping for the right one?

You mean that you have never known before this time that there are about as many interpretations of the Bible as there are those who read it? I expect the same holds true for the Quoran, the Jewish Scrolls or any other literary work of Religion.

You must be ignorant of the fact that the Catholic church has their own bible...

Are you admitting to being a creationist?

God made Adam and Eve in his own image and all that?

Yes, I am. Why would I hide that fact about me?

What's the point of your post?? To make yourself feel better about your lack of faith, or is it to make you feel bigger than me? If either is the case, I'm sorry that you have that low a level of self esteem...

I've never been one to hide my beliefs on this board or anywhere else in my life. In my house, we pray for the sick and afflicted, pray for the government and our country, and pray for strength to continue on each day. We also thank God for all that He's given us...the food on the table, the shelter above our heads, and the air we breathe.

I guarantee that I'm not the only on this board to feel as I do.
