White man fires into a car of black youth's, killing an un-armed teen...because he felt their music was....too loud. I know, I know...this was merely a ...co-incidence. Right?

Copycat events, as well as cries of racism are in the eye of the beholder.

Bottom line is, these kids are from a different generation. My parents could not understand why I needed to listen to Hendrix at full volume. I don't re-call grabbing my heater and un-loading on the youngsters on Belle Isle...nor my parents fireing a shot gun into my room.

We have a culture issue that never is really addressed by those who own the issue, unless it crosses someone else's culture, then its the end of the world.
But then again, I thought we are one. |

Solving the break-ins is the responsibility of the Police department detectives...by the way...are you sure there were hundreds of break-ins in that area? That number seems high...lets make sure we are not blowing things out of proportion...IE: 'Zimmermans scalp was busted wide open'(your statement), when in fact his wounds only required some band aids, plus the fact that he refused medical treatment at the scene when it was offered to him.

Really? She left the house, goes to the garage, opens the car, retrieves a weapon, goes back into the house, discharges the weapon and the rest is history, mandatory sentencing kicks in. She had ample time and ability to leave but chose to go back inside. I feel for her, but it appears she made a bad decision. Best possible scenario was keep walking and try to get the clothes and car another day. In the heat of the moment I can't say if I would not have done the same but life has some harsh consequences. |
