Concerning Gun Value. The Stat Law of having to go through someone with an FFL that takes their Feee out for processing the Paperwork has screwd the Value on a lot of Guns unless they are extremely desirable ones.

Besides the Ruger Black Hawk I have 2 Smith & Wessons in 38 special. No one is much inerested in Hand Guns that are 38 Special any more.

The only reason I can get back the Money I paid on them is because I bought most of them in the 1970s and early 1980s. I think I paid $160 for the Stainless Steel Ruger Black Hawk and less for the Smith & Wesson Model 12.

The other 38 Special I have I only had to pay the FFL guy the transfer fee as it was given to My by My Stepfather. I can't remember the Model Number but it has adjustable Sights and is hard chromed from the Factory.
The hard chrome imparts an interesting feature to it. Unjacketd Lead Bullets do not lead up the barrel at all; not even hot loaded Cartridges with all lead Bullets (I reload).

My real Father still has the nickle pated Smith & Wesson Model 19 6" Barrel I bought him back in the 1970s. I won't have to pay the Transfer as it has always been in My name.

In any event the Money was long spent on them. I am no worse off if I never recovered any Money back from them.

I had a 357 mag that could fire 38 special for target shooting. I don't think the reverse is true so that might be part of the issue.

Back to the TV show. Did they ever say what started turning People into Zombies?

I thought that would be in the first Episode but it was not.

Then in the 4th Season in one of the Episodes there is a Scientist that is supposed to know the cause but won't say because it is supposed to be classified.

Besides the Comic Books there is supposed to be a set of Novals.

Yes. People perfer to buy the .357 mag and shot that or the 38 Special in it.
The Model 19 I bought My Father is a .357; however a steady diet of .357 wears them out sooner and the other way to go the Model 27 or 28 built on the 44 Mag Frame.

Model 27 or 28 besides being heavier the distance to reach the Trigger if longer.

The Smith & Wesson Guns like the 586 and 686 were made to aleviate those issues.

When I first got the Ruger Blackhawk I fired only 38 special in it. When I did fire the 357 I was shocked to find that it shot noticably lower then the 38s did.

Forgot to mention the obvious. If you reload Revolvers allow you to get all of your Cartridge Cases all of the time and you don't have to worry about the Bullet shape or construction and it is going to be reliable if you do your job correctly when you reload.

Semiautos are a whole lot better then they used to be but still can prefer a particular Ammo better then others.

Back to the TV Show they are scrounging Ammo anywhere they can find it and using it mostly in semiaouto Hand Guns. I that situation I would not expect them to be entirly reliable.

I had one unusual failure with a revolver. I bought a Box of reduced Price 30 Special in a battered box from a Sporting Good Store.
When I fired it they all fired but evidently they were really old and all of the powerd did not burn.
Apparently the powder not burning well did not expand the Cartridge Cases and the unburned Powder Grains when backwards and got under the Injector (Smint & Wesson Model 12 with 2 Inch Barrel). When I realoaded I could not push the Cylinder back into the Frame till the Power Grains were cleaned out from between the rear of the Cylinder and the Ejector.

I just finished watching a DVD Comedy called The Walking Deceased a parody of the Walking Daead.

I did not think it was very funny but someone might like to find out for themselves.

Some Characters in the Show believed that the Zombies were still Human but different. In the Woodbury parts of the Show the scientific guy is tryinig to see if the Zombies still have some pre-Zombie memories.

Most believe the Zombies are no longer Human.

Yet, at the begning of the show a little Girl Zombie stops walikng and pics up a Teddy Bear and hangs onto it.
Since none of the other Zombies in the Show pick up anything and hang onto it does the little Girl Zombie picking up the Teddy Bear indicate that some Zombies may have some pre-zombie memories or was it just a mistake in the Plot?

I can only imagine that making crossbow bolts is a lot easier than making reliable ammunition, especially in a sort of post apocalyptic scenario. I mean, what if they can't find a store or warehouse to loot? Wouldn't even need to be top quality points to penetrate a walker's skull.

Give me a break. You sound old enough to have watched the western shows where the guy has a 6 round revolver but is able to shoot forever without reloading. How many shows have you seen where he has a gunbelt that is full of ammo and after the fight, still full?

Anyone else notice that when Rick buried the bag of weapons before entering Terminus, his Python turned into an Anaconda? When asked what was in the bag he even says "a .44 Magnum". Whoops.
I load .38 loads in .357 brass to avoid the carbon right that builds up in the cylinder when shooting .38s. Hate that carbon ring, but Techron fuel additive will take it out.

I am not that familuar with Colts so I did not notice.

I have not reloaded for years but when I did I mostly loaded the .357 Brass to 38 special simply because I had no particular need for the full loaded .357.
But, I loaded what ever brass I had avilable 38 or 357s so I am not so particular.

Last night I finished viewing the serise 1-4 CD set I got on eBay and did not pay attention to what guns were buried.

I tried to capture a pic but did not do so well.

When I first viewed the scenes when they were running at Turminus I missed that there was other voices asking for help as they were running past the area where the Shipping Containers are. I think there is People inside of the Shipping Containers in the Picture on the right.
