I'm embarassed to say I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota, 4x4, Crew Cab with a Cummins 4BT and 47RE transmission for sale, so I can buy a gasoline newer car (meaning 2009-2012ish model).

How is that a bad thing? Why not take a load off, read newspapers, surf on phone or just gather thoughts?

IMO, the can is the best place to gather thoughts!

No one to distub you, usually quiet, and comfortable!

If the wife wasn't so in love with her car, I'd have dumped it for a gas version when it still had value. But right now, we have put more into it (body work and some mechanical) than I will get out of it and she has some ridiculous fantasy of getting the million mile badge now that she has gotten the first 2 and nearer the 3rd at 400K miles.

If it doesn't stink, yes.

Not true. All kinds of idiots make noise there. Even fellow crappers conduct business on the throne so I can't sit in silence. As to comfort, in my crapper, I took out the seat and replaced it with a foam one for better comfort. I hate to sit on the cold seat.
