That is a very sunny message! Why is it that the Republican Party cannot competently convey it to the American voter?

The conservative ideology is positive but the party has proven itself to be over reaching, overbearing, and relentless in their desire of wars in the name of profit and conquest.

IMO the right wing issues will not be resolved in any event, until at least most of the general public have forgotten what GWB and his gang of morons did to the USA. Like it or not, people such as Paul Ryan and Boehner are widely perceived as long lasting and fully benighted echoes of the same ideological garbage that lead to the Great Recession and then the party of “No.”

Fukem all.
Created the great recession when Carter penned the community reinvestment Act.....toss in a couple idiots for prez betwen then and now and 'viola'.

So we sit here today up to our ears in merde with a clown who hasn't done anything to fix all the things he blames Bush for.......LOL

Funny I thought the party of 'no' runs the Senate......

Boner is history.....

In this district? There is no doubt. At least that is what I thought yesterday.

Brat was on MSNBC today and when asked about the min wage he went into a long and eventually faulty rant about how he had all these graphs and figures that showed the min wage was right there with the end of the world. It was like watching someone go from a rational premise to Cloud Coo-koo Land, and with this guy that's a pretty short walk.

When he was asked about arming rebels in Syria he just refused to answer the question, said he would be glad to answer any questions, and then said he was happy he won. He was better at dodging the question that Palin could have on her best day, but he was still dodging. And he never did give an answer because it was clear he had nothing to say. Hopefully the Republican Party will get the guy a debate coach soon because it is clear he needs one.

There are few Democrats in that district. It was cut-up by the lawmakers in Virginia to give Cantor a safe seat and reflected his views. As the views of Brat come out the voters might decide to lay this one out or independents might go Dem.

This will be interesting to watch.

No. It is because history has proven them to be correct. At least history that anyone can check out.

Of course in Conservative history, which is made up to suit the moment, anything is possible so yes, your comment is 100% factual.

My district has a Rep. from the rank and file. His accomplishments so far? Nothing.

He is very good at repeating Conservative talking points, so he can remember a script which is more than I can say for some of the people I work with. But as far as doing anything for the our district he is so outclassed by real Reps he is only warming the seat for the next guy to come along and do the same.

Right down the street from me is the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, the only place in the US where heavy military ammunition and bombs are made. If there was ever a district that needed someone who understood how DC works it is this one because this 43,000 acre facility is the only one of these our country has.

Our Rep lost a few votes when he went in on shutting down the government since it threw a few thousand voters here out on the street. His desire to please the Tea Party funders trumped his desire to take care of his district.

Oddly enough he is not mentioning his glee over the shutdown now like he was during the shutdown, but then Hey! He's running for office for Pete's sake!

That sounds a lot like China today.

It really does.

So is that the type of leadership we need?

The two parties have been spending money like drunken sailors for a couple generations, have given police powers to fed, state, and locals that Himmler would approve, interfered in private enterprise like a crazed Trotskyist, and have expanded the military-industrial complex to the delight of national socialists.

I love when these colluding bastards lose elections.

More please.

Reagan demonstrated that the Conservative message is a winner with the American people. But the Repubs never got that message. Seems like modern Repub leadership listens to the inside the beltway advisors rather than their historic base.
