David, I read the whole story last night. Your Dad is pretty amazing. I wish the broad sweep of his story were more unique. But it is not. For me, some of the tiny details he gave startled me from complacency, like the shoes at the Holocaust Museum. It becomes real and it is terrible.
Thank you for posting this. The best way for people to know the reality of Naziism is stories of survivors. I am glad your Dad survived to tell his story, History. |
