I sure would love an E-320 wagon.

I keep buying lottery tickets, but, so far, no luck.

Maybe Santa will bring me one this year.

(Wait a minute, I'm Santa)!

Sure would be nice if the wagon came with an OM617.95.

Well, I always have my eyes open, hoping to some day find a diesel. However, I think there are other plans in the works - on the way to dinner tonight, wifey comments on "how pretty" the 210's are, quickly followed by "how much could we get one for"?

She's thinking something from the slightly tested stock, and mentioned that a 6 banger would be sufficient.

I'm having too much fun keeping old cars running to start thinking about a nearly new one .

We are really happy with Mrs Tim H's 99 ML320, and I like her driving it because it is big and heavy to cope with any incident with one of the many big trucks and SUVs down here.

She would love an SLK (I would love her to have one) but I can't help thinking that there just insn't enough car there to protect her.

So, in a while it may have to be a newer ML, but I sure still lust after that SLK!!

My next Merc will either be a 500E, E300DT, or C36 (C43). Any of these cars will fill my Mercedes desires as a driver. My hobby car (coming in about a year) will be a Porsche 911.

3. 320te w210 wagon '00 or later [wife likes this one also]

4. 560sel or 420sel w126 '88-'91

I'd like to trade my 300D in for a '85 300CD sometime. Although when the E420 is payed for in a year or two, an e320 4-matic looms as an do-all-family-snowboarding car

Someday, when I grow tired of the E420 - a W124 E500.

I've always loved the w108's a nice 4.5 or 6.3 would be sweet, but nothing more than a play-car because of poor fuel economy.

I also can't wait for the CDI's to hit our shores!

Regards,
- Ryan

IF I could find a nice one, I'd buy a 90 or 91 560SEL. It would have to be in really nice shape for me to buy an older car again, so realistically in about 2 years when the E420 is paid for I'll be looking for a 98 or 99 S500.

Great Post!

My next MB will most likely be a 92 - 94 W124 300TD Wagon. I've always wanted a diesel for their reliability and the wagon for it's ability to haul stuff. Not to mention that I think it's inconspicuous and doesn't grab too much attention.

Well, I'm outta the market for the forseeable future. When I do go back in, it will be another SUV more than likely. If MB wants my buisness, then they'll have to have the CDI available stateside. If not, then I just may have to dig up that importer that TXBill mentioned.............

Im hoping to purchase a 1999/2000 CLK 430 within the next month or two.Hopefully I can sell my 1992 Midnight Blue/Gray 300CE by then. If anyone is interested in purchasing a nice 1992 300CE then my car is posted on this website. Also if anyone has any feedback on the CLK 430 be it good or bad then any information is very welcome.
Thanks Phillip

A southern 300D that has been garage-kept so it has not been sun burned. And of course no rust.

A 300D with no rust is a beautiful imaginary concept.
