If you want to know how crooked a stick is, just lay a straight one next to it.

It's not the tall sails that bring a ship to the port of destination, but the unseen wind.

Rush screwed up BIG TIME! The thing that bothers me is that the "compassionate" lib's are raking him over the coals. Again it's OK to be human as long as you’re a Liberal, if your conservative look out you’re going to get tagged.

Look what happened to Jim Baker of the PTL club and then look at Bill Clinton who got off the hook?

Those darn liberals! (By the way, when did "liberal" become a noun?)

If Jim Baker had been "a liberal", there is no way he would have been punished for taking all that money from his ministry. It is too bad his lawyer didn't tell him that being "a liberal" is a valid defense against criminal charges. Maybe he could have avoided prison.

Someone should tell Bill Clinton that he got off the hook. He might have thought that he was punished, given that a substantial part of his presidency was spent dealing with the most intrusive investigations any public figure has ever endured, defending an impeachment trial, having his license to practice law suspended, incurring millions of dollars in legal fees, paying a large settlement to Paula Jones, etc., etc. He might be relieved to know that he got off the hook. Given the amount of bogus crap that was thrown at him, his getting off the hook would not have been the correct result, but it would have been closer to the correct result than what actually happened.

Forgot Flowers and Broderick.

Anyway, Callyfohnya is greatful for ol Bill: he broke ground that now protects Ahnold.

Aren't we all just a lot better off now?

The Broderick thing is hard to figure. If he did what she said, then I will admit that he got off the hook, but it would have nothing to do with his being "a liberal". If there was a case that could be proven in court and that wasn't barred by the statute of limitations, I have no doubt whatsover that prosecutors and other lawyers would line up around the block waiting to nail him. Either way, most everything else thrown at Clinton can easily be described as bogus crap, and that definitely includes the Flowers stuff.

Jim Baker deserved everything that he got. Idiot.

Well, at least ol' Bill was a far more entertaining President than George W.! Blow jobs in the Oval Office, fun games like "hide the cigar", accusations of rape, accusations of real estate fraud, admitting to smoking pot (but not inhaling! hahaha)....

George W.'s "Iraq scandal" just isn't quite as soap-opera worthy, is it?

MedMech, alas, we disagree. Show me the hypocrisy in George Jones and Willie Nelson's duet of "I Gotta Get Drunk"
Who was it, David Allen Coe with, "Why Don't We Get Drnk, and Screw?"

Now there's a back to basics kinda guy.
