Hey, Im trying to do a vavle adjustment on my 240D. I got some 14mm wrenches, heated them up and bent them. Works good, except i can't break the damn locknut. the wrenches just slip off the nut...

Got it working. The transmission was kind of shot but i changed the fluid and put in some stp trany treatment. transmission works perfect now. got the booster line and the car turns off now.

i tried it again, my passagner wasn't shut all the way. now the others will lock if the drivers side is locked

yes, only the driver side though

i just got the 240d 82 running that was abandoned for 3 yrs. when starting up the oils at 3 and pretty much stays there. 2.5-3 generally, is this bad? changed oil put in 40weight

much thanks.... Ive been trying to figure out the name of that valve for 3 days now.... I didn't realize it sold as a line and not just a seperate vavle... no wonder I couldn't find it.

checked glow plugs, broke some valve?
Ok, I bought a ohm meter and did a glowplug check. checking at the gp relay. I got 1.2 ohms on 2,3,&4. terminal 1 did not work. Is that enough to keep it from starting, I wouldn't think so.

I believe the starter works fine because the engine turns over when i turn the key? is this a correct assumption. My fuel injection lines are shot though, so that may be the problem. I ordered...

I don't know if it technically a fuel pump.... the little module thing connected to the hand primer just looks much cleaner and newer than the rest of the vehicle.... I degreased and pressure washed...

tried it, not starting next?
I put some diesel in there. Then I put a new battery in it and air filter. I primed the hand pump lots.... it gets through the filter because its coming out of the hoses that come out of the fuel...
