I agree. 22 is about what I would expect. I measured every tank in my 300SD and the range was 19-27 ish. Similar weight but more aerodynamic than a 123 wagon.

I ran a few tanks of B-50 or higher which did clean out my fuel system. I know because after 120 miles of driving I had to change my pre-filter. I should mention that my car sat for several years...

Makes it look so easy! Changing mine on my 79 was a little more involved, ......oh, maybe because I had no key for my old lock. The design did change in 1980 though.
