Question 1996 e 320 Mercedes A/C issue

My a/c seems to blow a lil less colder air on the drivers side vs the passenger side, even when i set the thermostat to the lowest level. I was wondering if someone could shed some light on why this happens. I know that you can control each side idependently. Is there a way to fix this proplem. Do i need freon for one side and not the other?
